You can be in the world and use the thing of the world.

Moonwing

Also the ego and the senses. The ego is the cement that holds the five elements and the whole creation together. Without ego, cosmic ego, there would be no creation at all.

Fade to

Close up of Moonwing, his eyes are close but concentrated.

Moonwing

All of these things are tools for the soul to come in to this world and experience the things of the world, and find fulfilment and completion.

Fade to

Moonwing

We should see them as tools, emotions also.

Fade to

Moonwing sways between the leaves blowing into him next to the pond.

Moonwing

If we don’t attach to it we can use it just as a tool. If we attach to it, it overtakes our mind and drives us crazy. We lose control and don’t know what we’re doing anymore.

Fade to

It’s all how you look at it. That’s the tricky thing…But that’s the secret.

Treatment

5 Minute Drama Treatment
Tree Hugger
Blurb:
When a young hippy falls in love with the environment, he goes to visit the forest to and become one with nature. Deep within the forest, he becomes dazed yet enthused by the beauty of the forest. Continuing on his journey through the forest he slowly spirals into insanity, becoming increasingly confused with his beliefs. Will Moonwing Tindergreen’s journey change the fabric of his beliefs? Or will he continue his quest on becoming one with nature.
Character Profile:
Moonwing Tindergreen – Moonwing was born in the back of a VW camper van in 1990. He was bought up as hippy and remained that way throughout his teenage years. After the tragic death of his parents he inherited all their possessions including the camper van he was born in. Obsessed with nature, Moonwing regularly seeks beauty within the environment and likes to take photos, sort of like a hobby. Due to his ways and beliefs, he found it harder to get along with peers during his educational years and decided to start travelling by himself after he finished school. Not having a job or any other work related commitments means that Moonwing has absolutely no income, however, his parents were fairly wealthy. His parent’s money pays for his food and travelling. Moonwing often gets lonely travelling by himself. So to evacuate any loneliness from his body, he goes on a quest to become one with nature.
Statement of Intent
We believe we are the best possible people to make this drama because we know lots of different locations to shoot and film in. We have relatively good knowledge of the subject which will help to finalise the script and storyboards. It will also give us the opportunity to use all the skills we have learnt and use them to create the most effective drama we can.

Storyline:
As Moonwing enters the forest he immediately gets a rush from the intense wooded scenery. To his eyes it is his perfect paradise, he finds the sheer beauty extremely overwhelming. Continuing through the forest he falls onto a blanket of leaves and starts to feel dizzy. He staggers back to his feet in a daze, as he stumbles around he can hear the noise of chainsaws and trees being cut down. This all starts to infuriate Moonwing and he grabs onto a tree. Crying and in hysterics, he accidently pulls a bit off one of the trees. He repeatedly apologises to the tree and becomes even more hysterical. He tries rushing away but all the sounds become louder and louder in his head.
